Oh! Hi! I am an exceptionally lazy person apparently. I've taken pictures of most of what I've made lately but I just haven't found it in me to write about it. I'll try to put them up and keep the posts brief. It's better late than never, right?
Maybe not.
But who cares? I made a watermelon sculpture!
At the beginning of the month we had a friend from Japan staying for the week (she's the best!) and she helped me out with making several things , this hedgehog being the first of them. I was sorely tempted by the shark and T-Rex carvings on Watermelon.org, but the hedgehog was too cute to pass up!
There were some, uh, issues, as usual (scooping the watermelon out was totally a bad idea - it took forever and the pieces were so not pretty) but overall it was majorly fun! It wasn't a huge project and it made the watermelon eating a little more enjoyable :) I'm definitely going to make that shark next!
This is so SILLY! I literally laughed when I saw it. Love it, just love it.
